Professorship for "Transport planning/Transport logistics"
at the Department of Civil Engineering (f/m)

What to expect:
  • You will teach at the Department of Civil Engineering (Bachelor/ Master) focusing on transport planning (road and rail) and transport logistics.
  • You will also supervise and further develop the subjects of Surveying and Geographical Information Systems, ideally taking on additional basic subjects.
  • We are also confident that you will be involved in applicationoriented research in the area of transport and logistics.
  • In addition to organising and delivering continuing education courses at the Department, you will also be involved in university self-government.
Your background:
  • Your expertise is based on your degree in Civil Engineering and a recognised doctorate.
  • You also have several years‘ professional experience in transport, ideally in engineering companies, as well as practical knowledge in the areas of road design and the rail transport system.
  • You have solid experience in producing transport-related studies and expert opinions.
  • You also have knowledge of computer- based methods for designing traffic routes and for visualising complex traffic flows.
