"Digitisation and Media Education in Social Work"
at the Department of Social Work

Your tasks
  • You will teach on Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at the Department of Social Work.
  • You will contribute to the university-wide digitisation strategy by becoming involved in committees and projects.
  • You will support other schools in the implementation of new teaching formats.
  • In teaching and research, you will focus on
  • the effects of digitisation and media­tisation on Social Work and its addressees,
  • the creation of digitised forms of communication and organisation within the help setting (online sup­port, case documentation, social networks, virtual rooms),
  • the effects of digitisation and mediatisation on educational processes, particularly in areas
    of socio-cultural education,
  • educational work practice using digital media in the fields of Social Work and Cultural Education,
  • the further development of digitised teaching/learning arrangements in undergraduate teaching and continuing education,
  • the effects of digitised forms of teaching/learning on skills orientation.
Your profile
  • You have a degree in Social Work, Education Science, the Social Sciences or a comparable university degree.
  • You completed your relevant doctorate with above-average success.
  • You have professional experience related to Social Work.
  • Ideally, you will have extensive experience in (digitised) teaching and in applying for and collaborating in research projects.
  • A network with practitioner partners would be desirable.
