Professor (open rank) of Executive

You will join the leadership team of the Executive School of Management,Technology and Law.A successful
candidate with a sufficiently strong research record will also be appointed to the School of Management.
You will act as the Academic Director of the Executive MBA programme;manage a team of
some 15 colleagues running the Executive MBA programme; teach core modules in our numerous executive
programmes; develop contacts with corporate clients; initiate new executive education programmes;
and contribute to executive leadership development in and outside of Switzerland.The
appointment may be at the level of Full Professor, Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer.
You will bring to the post a recognised reputation within the fields of management and/or leadership
and executive education, as demonstrated by your professional career and publication track record.You
have a proven record of applying high ethical managerial and academic standards.You hold a relevant
doctorate from a recognised institution; have a track record of success in programme development and
in teaching senior executives; are fluent in English and German; and have access to a network in academia
and/or practice that will support your executive education activities.
This opportunity will suit a senior academic wishing to broaden connections with firms or a senior
practitioner wishing to reflect on the links between theory and practice. The successful candidate will
collaborate closely with colleagues in the core subject areas of the University (management, economics,
law, international affairs and social sciences) and will report to the Dean of the Executive School
of Management, Technology and Law.
