To strengthen our semiconductor processing team we are seeking a

Process Engineer/Scientist (m/f)
Semiconductor Lithography
(Reference 08/17)

Using our modern equipment of optical and electron beam lithography you will develop structures with sub-micrometer feature size for electronic devices for high frequency applications from the microwave up to the THz range. Within our multidisciplinary team of scientists and technicians you will work on stabilization and further development of process modules, particularly for InP heterobipolar transistors. Based upon established technologies your main activities will comprise the use of resist coating, exposure, and development tools as well as programming process sequences for automated equipment. Processing of pilot wafer lots and applying the respective characterization methods and quality control by monitoring critical process parameters is a further indispensable part of your work.
You should have a Diploma or Master of a university or of a university of applied science in physics, electrical engineering, microtechnology or a related field. Profound knowledge in semiconductor device physics and technology and hands-on experience in semiconductor processing, preferably in electron-beam or stepper lithography, are desirable. The position requires a high level of experimental skills and reliability. We are looking for a team player with very good communication skills in German and English.
Willingness for participation in two-shift work and suitability for work in the cleanroom environment is obligatory.
The position is available immediately and is initially limited to 2 years, with the option for extension. Payment is according to the German TVöD (Bund) scheme. We offer our employees an attractive and family-friendly working environment with interesting tasks and long-term career prospects.
