The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim is seeking a

Postdoctoral Researcher (100 %)

to work at the Research Department of Corporate Taxation and Public Finance.
The focus of the position will be empirical analyses in the fields of fiscal policy, political economy and European Integration. The Research Department welcomes applicants who are close to graduating or who have recently obtained their PhD in a relevant field.
The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of theory and quantitative methods in a public finance context, excellent writing skills and a strong interest in economic policy analysis in Europe. The candidates are not expected to teach but should be interested to conceptualize and manage third party-financed research projects particularly targeting European Institutions. Fluency in English is required; command of German would be appreciated.
