The candidate will be responsible to teach and conduct research in the field of bioenergy processes. We are looking for a researcher who has already published his works in international journals. Experience in academic lectures is desired. The research interests have to be on energy recovery of waste and biomass, preferably for the production of liquid and gaseous fuels. In particular, application and development of innovative methods and technologies, implementation and combination of previously not practiced method and research development on enhanced efficiency and performance of the entire value added chain are desired. Experience in technology and international knowledge transfer is preferred.
German and English language proficiencies are required to fulfil the teaching activities in the Bachelor‘s and Master‘s programs of the faculty as well as to satisfy other duties of the University. In addition, active participation in the development of the courses offered, especially in the field of environmental technologies, is expected. Please contact apl. Prof. Dr. agr. habil. Other duties result from the requirements set by § 42 Brandenburgisches Hochschulgesetz (Higher Education Act of the State of Brandenburg-BbgHG) applied in connection with § 3 BbgHG. Employment prerequisites and conditions are given in §§ 45 and 46 BbgHG. Lectures are also to be held in English. Experience in raising third party and research funds as well as execution of research projects is expected. The doctorate and employment phase should not span over 6 years in total if an employment as a scientific assistant exists either before or after the doctoral study. In accordance to § 46 BbgHG, junior professors can be employed for up to four years as a civil servant. The employment of junior professors will be extended to a total of six years upon a positive evaluation.
