For our Microwave Department we seek the

Head of the Group
"Electromagnetic Simulation"
(Reference Number 08/18)

Electromagnetic simulation forms a basis for developing electronic components at FBH, from transistor modelling to sub-mm-wave interconnects and packaging. The em-simulation team bundles this expertise. Using state-of-the-art software tools and based on comprehensive experience, the group provides services for the device and circuit designers and pursues own research in the field of CAD.
As head of the group you possess the necessary technical competence in em simulation and its application to microwave and mm-wave circuits and modules. At the same time, you are dedicated to develop solutions, together with your colleagues from other groups and to manage a small team.
We expect an university degree (Master/Diplom) and a PhD in electrical engineering or related disciplines, specializing in high-frequency technology. Experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of electromagnetic simulation and its application to microwaves are a further condition. We need a reliable person, with high motivation and creativity. Team spirit and a good command of English are a prerequisite.
The position is available from July 1st, 2018. Payment is according to TVöD Bund (collective salary scheme for German public service).
