The Faculty of Natural Sciences invites applications for the position of a
Full Professor (W3) of Food Chemistry and Analytical Chemistryat the Institute of Food Chemistry.
The applicant should have excellent qualifications and have conducted internationally renowned research in a current field of the analysis of foodstuff ingredients. The applicant is expected to be willing to engage in interdisciplinary cooperation with scientists of the Universities of Hohenheim and Stuttgart, in particular with the faculty institutes of food science and nutritional science.
In teaching, the professorship represents the Department of Food Chemistry in the joint Bachelor’s and Master's programs of Food Chemistry of the Universities of Hohenheim and Stuttgart as well as in the elective areas of other subject-related degree programs.
The position offers attractive conditions for first-time full professor appointees. Prerequisites for applicants are habilitation or an equivalent research and teaching record which may have been established during a Junior or Assistant Professorship.
The advertised position is tenured. If appointed as full professor for the first time, the University of Hohenheim reserves its right to probationary employment. With equal qualifications, preference will be given to candidates with disabilities.
