With some 5,800 students, Reutlingen University is one of the biggest universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg. Full Professor in Computer Science and Software Engineering, Mathematics for Industrial Engineering in the ESB Business School

Starting date: Summer Semester 2019

Salary scale: W 2

The appointed professor will be responsible for teaching courses in the fields of computer science, mathematics and statistics in the industrial engineering department of the ESB Business School.

You are expected to have a strong research profile, demonstrated by relevant and applied publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and a PhD in a field related to the position. The appointed professor should also contribute to the department’s research profile in the future.

We expect at least five years of professional experience, at least three of which must have been outside of university.

The willingness and proficiency of teaching in German and English is a prerequisite. Aptitude and readiness to take on tasks in the university’s self-administration are expected.
