Doctoral candidate (PhD student) in EU public law (M/F)

  • The doctoral candidate will be working with Professor Herwig C.H. Hofmann within the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance’s research unit in law. The doctoral candidate will contribute to research projects in the area of EU public law with a particular interest in institutional, constitutional, administrative and regulatory matters
  • The candidate’s main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of EU public law, under the supervision of Professor Herwig Hofmann at the University of Luxembourg
  • The doctoral candidate will contribute to the teaching of classes ranging from one to three hours per week, of small group teaching and tutorials
  • The candidate will have a Master or LL.M. degree in law (5 years of university studies) with proven knowledge of EU and public law matters
  • She or he will have the linguistic skills to work in a multilingual environment: drafting ability in either French, English or German with a good understanding at least another one other of these languages
