Associate Professor - Computer Science
Nazarbayev University is seeking highly qualified full-time faculty members at the Associate Professor level to join its rapidly growing program in Computer Science in the School of Science and Technology. Applicants with research interest in Intelligent Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Vision, Sensor Networks, Mobile Computing, Bio-Informatics, Visualization and Big-Data are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. degree from a reputed research university, a demonstrated ability for research, excellent English-language communication skills and a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Position responsibilities include development of an independent, externally funded research program, teaching an average load of two courses per semester, curricular and program development, and other activities related to the intellectual and cultural environment of the university.
