The School of Economics and Political Science of the University of St.Gallen wishes to appoint an Assistant Professor in Econometrics as soon as possible (or by mutual agreement).

Assistant Professor in Econometrics

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics, Econometrics, or Statistics and a promising track record in research.
We appreciate applications from all areas of Econometrics, but we give preference to candidates with experience in applied and theoretical microeconometrics and machine learning.
The appointment is for 6 years (non-tenure track).The teaching load will be one class (two hours) per week (24 weeks p.a.). In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for counselling students and faculty in applied econometrics and data science. Applications from qualified women are particularly welcome.
