Management of Innovation –Teaching & Research Assistant / PhD Position
At the Chair for Management of Innovation at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany, we seek for a Teaching & Research Assistant to fill a vacant PhD position (guaranteed: 50 % = 19.75 hrs/week). The salary is EG 13 TV-L. This position is a temporary position for 3 years, which can potentially be extended.
We maintain a broad spectrum of activities in research, teaching and projects in the field of management of innovation, in particular we focus on innovation in the context of digital transformation and sustainability.
You can work on projects and topics that you are passionate about.
We systematically support your doctoral research with a structured coaching and counseling process.
You can participate in workshops about research methodologies.
You can present your research at international conferences and workshops.
You have the opportunity to take part in or even lead research projects.
You get teaching experience by contributing to our teaching program.
You will have fun working with our young and enthusiastic team.
Guaranteed is a 50 % position which may be supplemented depending on available project funding.
We are looking for a research assistant who intends to obtain a PhD in the field of innovation management.
You should hold an excellent master‘s degree (or equivalent) preferably in management, economics or a related field. Or you are about to finalize your master‘s degree until the end of the year.
You fit the team perfectly, if you are passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship.
Ideally, you have already specialized in innovation management or entrepreneurship during your graduate studies.
It is a strong plus, if you are interested in empirical work and have some experience in quantitative analysis (Stata, R, or SPSS) or in qualitative analysis (MAXQDA).
You have excellent English skills. Additional languages are a plus.
Additionally, you will need excellent German skills.
Prior research experience is a plus as well.
