Tandem Professorship for Sustainability in Engineering and Management (ESG)

(employment under private law / limited to three years)

for a limited period of three years. The employment will be 50% at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences (remuneration based on grade W1) and 50% at Wolfcraft GmbH.

The focus of the work is on sustainability management of technical processes and product development. In addition to specialist expertise in sustainability management, good theoretical knowledge of engineering and management sciences, as well as practical experience in the application of strategic development of value chains, are essential in filling the tandem professorship. The above mentioned subject areas should be represented in teaching, research and practice.

A high quality of teaching and the support of students in their learning processes is an important concern for us. This includes the readiness for blended learning, online teaching and teaching evaluation, the implementation of teaching in German and English and a weekly presence, which enables qualified counselling and regular contact with students as well as participation in the self-governing bodies of the university.
The applicant is expected to be able to agree with the mission statement and the quality concept of the university.

The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
