Scientific Project Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a project manager responsible for the adminis­tra­tion and coordination of scientific projects of the newly esta­blished Compu­tational Medicine group. The position offers a wide range of oppor­tunities, including participation in ongoing and new scientific pro­jects within the scope of the group’s programme of work. Other tasks include the administration of in-house and third-party funds, assis­tance with account statements, project coordination and general science manage­ment and administrative support.

Your area of responsibility:
The successful candidate will be responsible to support the scientific infrastructure, management and administration of the newly established group and will substantially contribute to the acquisition and manage­ment of third-party funds:
  • Development and support of the newly established group, in particular coordination of scientific projects, teaching and online presence
  • Management of third-party funds and participation in the preparation of annual reports
  • Organization and supervision of scientific events
  • Participation in application, management, reporting and coordination of national and international projects of the group
  • General science management
  • Contribution to scientific projects based on individual skills

If you are fluent in written and spoken English, have strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team to tight timelines, then apply to become part of our growing team.   • University degree in a life or natural sciences or technical field, possibly with a PhD

  • Professional experience in science management in universities, business or public services, as well as experience in the management of third-party funded projects and in business communication are advantages
