Researcher in Industrial Organization,
Behavioral Economics, Econometrics
(75 %; EG 13 TV-L)
is to be occupied at the 1 October 2021. The employment is initially limited for a period of 2 years with an option for prolongation. It is a qualification position in the sense of the Act of Academic Fixed-Term Contract (Wissenschaftsvertragsgesetz -WissZeitVG), which is to promote the scientific qualification of the employee.
The DGSE’s specific focus on Competition Economics and Regulatory Issues in research and teaching and the close links of DICE into competition policy practice provide an excellent platform for the education of doctoral students in Germany and Europe. The Graduate Programme benefits from the research infrastructure provided by DFG-GRK 1974 Wettbewerbsökonomie. Besides Competition Economics and Policy, we generally supervise other research topics in Applied Microeconomics. The Graduate Programme’s scope is interdisciplinary since law and management science are well integrated. Doctoral students participate in courses and seminars that focus on the topics of the Graduate Programme.

Our Requirements:
a completed scientific university education (M.Sc. / M.A. / Diploma / Magister) in Economics or in a related quantitative-mathematical discipline with outstanding grades
talented and motivated applicants with a strong interest in Competition Economics
very good knowledge of theoretical and empirical economic methods and an excellent command of the English language
The pay scale grouping will be, depending on the personal qualification of the applicant, up to pay grade 13 TV-L.
