The following temporary position in part-time (75 %) at the Chair of Marketing is to be filled as soon as possible:
Research Fellow Pre-Doc (m/f/d) / Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (m/w/d) am Lehrstuhl für Marketing
The contract is limited to three years.
In research, teaching and executive education, the Chair of Marketing is particularly concerned with the research topics social media and digitization as well as decision research. In almost all research projects, we use a quantitative-empirical research approach and advanced methods, such as eye tracking, virtual reality, augmented reality, and text mining. The research projects are geared towards interdisciplinary cooperation with the fields of information systems, innovation management and psychology.
Your tasks:
- Participation in the research projects initiated by the chair.
- Publish in peer-reviewed international journals.
- Teaching in the field of marketing (3 weekly teaching hours during the semester)
- Supervision of Bachelor and Master students
- Administrative duties
- Exchange and cooperation with universities and research institutions as well as with business practice
- The position aims at obtaining further academic qualification (Writing your PhD thesis)
Your profile:
- Have a MSc or equivalent university degree in business administration, business informatics, economics, psychology or a comparable field of study with above-average grades
- Strong interest in quantitative-empirical research
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills
- Be highly motivated and keen to work in an interdisciplinary research environment
- Be fluent in English
- Enjoy working in teams
