Offenburg University of Applied Sciences is urgently seeking a
Research Associate (m/f/x)
(E 13 TV-L, 100 %)
for a two-year contract (potential to extend)
at the Institute of Energy Systems Technology (INES), in particular for the MOBCOM project.
Area of responsibility
Managing the “Netznachbildung” (LISN) subproject in the context of the MOBCOM research project
Academic activities: research and development
Supporting teaching staff by passing on knowledge gained from the project
Master’s or similar post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power engineering, distribution and grid automation, or equivalent qualifications.
We are also looking for:
Practical experience in monitoring and automation of medium- and low-voltage distribution networks
Experience in electrical energy supply and networks
Good programming skills in Matlab/Simulink
A self-starter who works well in a team
Good level of spoken and written English
