Offenburg University of Applied Sciences is urgently seeking a

Research Associate (m/f/x)

(E 13 TV-L, 100 %)

for a two-year contract (potential to extend)

at the Institute of Energy Systems Technology (INES), in particular for the MOBCOM project.

Area of responsibility
  • Managing the “Netznachbildung” (LISN) subproject in the context of the MOBCOM research project
    • Academic activities: research and development
    • Project management
  • Supporting teaching staff by passing on knowledge gained from the project

Your profile
Master’s or similar post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power engineering, distribution and grid automation, or equivalent qualifications.

We are also looking for:
  • Practical experience in monitoring and automation of medium- and low-voltage distribution networks
  • Experience in electrical energy supply and networks
  • Good programming skills in Matlab/Simulink
  • A self-starter who works well in a team
  • Good level of spoken and written English
