Your responsibilities include:
Development, validation and application testing of a fibre-optic sensor based on thermoresponsive polymers for absolute temperature measurements resp. for use in industrial process monitoring
(e.g. temperature monitoring in bioreactors and flow measurement systems).
Completed scientific university studies in physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field at a university with specialisation in the field of photonics / optoelectronics or comparable
Very good knowledge of fibre optics and optoelectronics
Knowledge in the field of fibre optic sensor technology
Special knowledge in the fields of measurement technology and analytics
Experience with setting up optical and fibre-optic measurement workplaces and carrying out measurement series
Very good programming skills in Python and LabView
Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Good communication and Information behaviour, goal-oriented and structured way of working, initiative / commitment and capability, ability to work in a team and willingness to cooperate as well as conceptual, strategic and innovative mental capacity
Interdisciplinary research at the interface of politics, economics and society
Work in national and international networks with universities, research institutes and industrial companies
