Research Assistant (m/f/x)
in Economics & Business Administration
to start from March 1st, 2020. This position offers successful applicants the opportunity to qualify for a PhD.
Support for the cooperation with the New York Institute of Technology / School of Management; this includes support in the summer program organization & conduction, associated administrational tasks, support of program participants
Support for the department's research activities, especially in the field of Economics
Assistance in teaching in the Bachelor's program "Business Administration with Informatics" ( www.fh-swf.de/bba), which is taught entirely in English language and addresses a highly motivated international audience; subjects to be taught are in the areas of Economics (Introduction to Microeconomics, Introduction to Macroeconomics) as well as Controlling & Auditing (optional). The teaching activities will mainly focus on exercises
Support in the development and maintenance of teaching materials, support of students (also Bachelor's thesis projects if applicable) and other related tasks
Organizational tasks in the context of the academic self-administration
University degree (Master or University Diploma) in Economics or Business Administration or related areas
Experience with the supervision of students and / or teaching experience
Ability to teach in English language (proof is required, please add certificates)
Good German language skills (B2)
Approved didactic abilities, flexibility and intercultural experience (please indicate interests and experiences) as well as an open-minded personality are advantageous
The part-time employment relationship (75%) is subject to the Public Sector Collective Agreement of the Federal States (Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst der Länder, TV-L) and is initially limited to one year. Depending on the personal prerequisites, an extension of up to four further years is possible. The payment is based on the salary bracket 13 of the TV-L.
