The Chair of Marketing and Commerce invites applications for the position of a
Research Assistant / Doctoral Student (m/f)
located at WHU Campus Düsseldorf. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
WHU has more than 50 faculty members in the fields of management, finance and accounting, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and sales, and supply chain management. Research at WHU aims to adhere to three principles: quality, internationality, and relevance to business practice.
Professor Fassnacht & Team at the Chair of marketing and commerce in Düsseldorf focus on connecting science and practice. The ambition of our research is to investigate management relevant issues, specifically within the fields of pricing, branding, and (omnichannel) commerce. We work together with a number of notable companies in consulting and cooperation projects. "We inspire marketing" is our claim. We live our passion for marketing and commerce in all fields of our daily work. Our research assistants receive strong mentoring to be prepared for a career in industry or consulting in the best possible way.
completion of the dissertation and publications in the context of research and practice projects of the Chair
working on scientific consulting and cooperation projects together with our partners
support of courses (Master and MBA-level)
administrative work at the Chair
Master degree (or equivalent) in business administration, psychology, or another comparable subject (already completed or in the final stage)
ideally marketing as a major or practical experience in the field of marketing
personal interest in our research focuses
self-reliance, ability to work in a team, flexibility and practical orientation
very good German and English language skills
