The Chair of Intergenerational Economic Policy invites applications for the position of
Research Assistant / Doctoral Student (m/f)
located at WHU Campus Vallendar. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
WHU has more than 50 faculty members in the fields of management, finance and accounting, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and sales, and supply chain management. Research at WHU aims to adhere to three principles: quality, internationality, and relevance to business practice.
We are a small team with an intensive supervi-sion of research projects for the dis-sertation. The candidate should have a strong interest in questions concerning social policy, especially public pension and health economics. The dissertation has to be written in a cumulative effort.
Your main task will be your Ph.D. project in the area of economic policy and to present your research on academic conferences
You commit to research projects at the Chair of Intergenerational Economic Policy
You support research seminars and courses at the undergraduate and gradu-ate level as teaching assistant
Supervision of bachelor and master theses (2nd supervisor)
You are engaged in administrative work for the chair
You have a very good university degree in economics or a related field
Interest in applied econometrics, empirical work or simulation models
Interest in social and public policy questions
You have very profound German and English language skills
You are a team player and highly motivated
