reliability and validation of wind turbines.

As team lead, you will work together with your colleagues to turn research ideas into reality. You will lead the team currently composed of 5 research associates
and actively support their personal and professional development. In addition, you will develop, acquire and manage innovative and challenging projects in the field
of test design in close collaboration with our partners in research and industry. There is no chance of boredom, as you will also work together with the head of
department on the strategic alignment of the group.

We are approachable, share our expertise, and offer each other support, even when the duties in question are not our own. In order to take all aspects in the projects
into consideration, we all work closely together, irrespective of our backgrounds and seniority.

Have you completed an Engineering degree?
Do you want to employ your knowledge in the field of numerical simulation in our institute and achieve successful results with your team? Are you also very well
versed in the finite element method (FEM), perhaps even in ANSYS APDL? Then, we look forward to you bringing your expertise to the table right from day one. Excellent
knowledge of structural mechanics and fiber-reinforced composites will also facilitate your day-to-day work. Do you already have experience managing projects and would
you like to utilize your project management skills here? Initial leadership experience would also be great. You will present your results to your team and our customers
as well as at conferences. This is not a problem for you in both English and German. Whether you already have a doctorate or not - you should already have worked in a research-related environment.

Appointment, remuneration and social security benefits are based on the public-sector collective wage agreement (TVöD). Additionally Fraunhofer may grant performance-based variable remuneration components.
The working time consists of 39 hours per week.
The position is initially limited to 3 years.
