The European University for Well-Being (EUniWell; www.euniwell.eu) is a European University Alliance coordinated by the University of Cologne and funded by the EU under ERASMUS+ since 2020. EUniWell includes the member universities of Cologne, Birmingham, Florence, Inalco, Konstanz, Linnaeus, Murcia, Nantes, Santiago de Compostela, Semmelweis, and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Our goal is to enhance the well-being of individuals, society and the environment through research expertise, excellence in teaching and learning, and social engagement. The position of Project and Quality Manager (f/m/x) is part of the EUniWell Head.
YOUR TASKS
Provide overall monitoring and project management for EUniWell tasks, milestones and deliverables across all work packages associated with the EUniWell Erasmus+ project and related projects.
Provide overall quality assurance for EUniWell content
Monitor and support the overall progress of implementing EUniWell activities across all member institutions
Ensure alignment of EUniWell activities with policies and practices governing the EUniWell Erasmus+ project
Manage overall reporting requirements of the EUniWell Erasmus+ project
Provide a project-wide project management perspective in the EUniWell Management Team
Liaise regularly with counterparts at EUniWell member institutions
Manage information flow across the member institutions
Monitor and identify additional funding opportunities (e.g., national and international funding agencies, university-industry collaborations, etc.)
Contribute to proposal writing across EUniWell
YOUR PROFILE
University Masters degree (A PhD will be an asset)
3+ years professional experience in project management, with a track record of achieving goals within timeframe and budget
3+ years professional experience providing quality assurance
Knowledge of scientific approaches to quality management and process management, including latest tools, theories and methods
Experience in European or international project management and reporting is an asset
An understanding of the European higher education landscape, including the university operating environment
Highly developed knowledge of research methodology
Demonstrable experience working in a digital, distributed work environment
Strong communication skills, including the ability to build and sustain relationships with various stakeholders (including students, academic and professional staff, university leadership and external stakeholders)
Ability to coordinate and participate effectively in teams
Strong intercultural skills
Excellent written and spoken English and German skills
Ability to travel
Identification with the vision and mission of EUniWell

The position is available immediately on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). It is limited until 31.10.2027. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary will be based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
