W3-PROFESSORSHIP ON EXPERIMENTAL
PHYSICS "HYBRID AND ORGANIC DEVICES"
The successful candidate should complement and expand the research
and teaching activities of the "Centre for Advanced Materials" (CAM, www.cam.uni-heidelberg.de) in the area of organic and hybrid devices.
A focus should be on the development of novel devices and materials, their
processing and application. The applicant should have an internationally
visible research profile in the field of organic or hybrid-organic electronics
and should further strengthen the activities of the university in this area.
Strong interaction and collaboration with other research groups and within
planned and existing collaborative research centres and clusters is

The professorship is based within the Faculty for Physics and Astronomy.
The applicant should be able to lecture in Experimental Physics (Bachelor/
Master/PhD level) and contribute to the teaching duty of the faculty.
Prerequisites for application are a university degree and (in accordance
with Article 47, Paragraph 2 of the Higher Education Law of the Federal State
of Baden-Württemberg) a habilitation, a successfully evaluated junior
professorship or equivalent qualifications. Heidelberg University seeks to
achieve a higher proportion of women in areas where they have not been

applicants with equal qualifications and aptitude for the position.
