The Faculty of Mathematics and Economics, Institute of Technology and Process Management, is seeking to fill the position, starting 1st October, 2019 of
Professor (W3) of Management with a focus on Digital Business (m/f/d)
Candidates should strengthen Ulm University's research focus Date Science on the part of Management and Economics towards Digitalisation and Data Analytics.
We are looking for candidates that have a focus on Management and an international research record as well as a methodically quantitative and design orientation.
Potential work priorities in the field of Digital Business are Big Data and Business Analytics, Digital Business Models, Digital Transformation and Innovation,
Digital Platforms and Markets, Digital Value Added Networks and Business Processes, Customer and Service Analytics as well as Digital Marketing and Sales.
Collaboration in interdisciplinary Ulm University research projects is desired. Furthermore, we expect the new Professor to establish successful third-party
funding and cooperation projects with the industry.
The future professor should amend and shape the courses offered within the new profile Business Analytics for the study programmes Management and Economics,
Mathematics and Management, Sustainable Corporate Management as well as Management and Economic programmes of other faculties appropriately.
In addition, support of our Management compulsory lectures and advanced professional study programme Business Analytics is required.
Employment requirements are completed university studies as well as teaching aptitude, a doctoral degree and further pertinent scientific achievements (§ 47 LHG).
