General Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Production
Engineering and Building Systems Engineering.
The faculty of Mechanical Engineering has a vacancy for the
temporary substitute for the
Professorship (W2)
Regenerative
Energy Systems (m/f/d)
for the winter semester 2022/23 for a period of three years.

The appointment area focuses on the teaching areas:
- Conception, planning, execution and operation of
regenerative energy systems in building services
engineering
- Heating technology
- Local heating and cooling supply systems
- Energetic evaluation of buildings, plants and energy
supply systems
- Project and planning management
- Basics of sanitary engineering
The applicants must fulfill the appointment requirements in
accordance with § 58 of the Saxon Higher Education Autonomy
Act (Sächsisches Hochschulfreiheitsgesetz)
Your tasks and focus
In addition to fulfilling teaching obligations and supervising student
research projects, internships and theses, the duties include
application-oriented research, knowledge transfer and participation
in the university's academic self-administration.
Required is a profound scientific knowledge, proven through
scientific studies, specialized knowledge and pertinent practical
experience in the above-named areas as well as pedagogical
abilities for the transfer of knowledge and the readiness and ability
to offer lectures mainly in German and partly in English.
