of higher education based on an above-average doctorate (or similar proof of qualification in the field architecture). Practical orientation, interdisciplinary

Our Faculty 2: Computer Science and Engineering mis looking for
(Salary grade W2 Hessian Salary Law (HBesG)) for the following field: Programming in Information Technology
(reference number: 41/2019)
in the winter semester 2019/2020.
The new professor is expected to be the specialist in the field of programming for the departments of electrical engineering and computer science.
Candidates should demonstrate a core expertise and hands-on experience in the industrial sector in the areas of object oriented programming, programming in
the field of telecommunications networks, network virtualization and network simulation/emulation. The successful applicant is expected to use and to improve
an existing framework for automated testing of submitted software.
Commitment in conducting application-oriented research in at least one of the fields abovementioned is assumed. Participation in tuition in the fundamentals
of programming and electrical engineering is expected not only in the abovementioned fields but also in other courses of the different programs.
Applicants must have earned a university degree and doctorate in computer engineering computer science or electrical engineering. Strong teaching skills are required.

The hiring conditions are in accordance with §§ 61 and 62 of the Hessian Higher Education Act. This is a permanent contract. The first appointment as a professor is
first as a public-service employee on probation or with an unlimited employment contract with a 3-year long probation period.
