Your qualification:
For the newly installed study course “Environmental Sciences” and the existing study course “Environmental Engineering” the position of a lecturer in the field of qualitative water management and limnology in cooperation with the quantitative water management is offered.
Furthermore you can prove knowledge and research activities in one or more of the following themes:
- Limnology
- Water pollution control and management
- Environmental monitoring
- Water ressource management
- Position of qualitative water management within the indisciplinary cooperation with engineers
- Digitization of water management
The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Ostwestfalen-Lippe lives the unity of education and research. You are interested and willing to take an active part in raising third-party funds and research projects in the subject areas you are responsible for. You identify yourself with the supervision concept of the university, in which a high presence of the lecturers at the university’s campus and the willingness to take on tasks of the university's self-administration are required. Furthermore, your participation in designing and further developing the study course “Precision Farming” is expected. You offer your courses in German. In addition, you are qualified to conduct courses in English. In addition, you promote innovative and interdisciplinary study and communication formats for interdisciplinary teaching and for dialogue between science and society. If necessary, you will provide 25 % of your teaching as digital teaching to enable cross-location events.
