The University of Zurich invites applications for a
professorship in history of education and educational policy analysis (open rank)
Depending on the qualifications of the appointee, the professorship will take the form of a chair or a tenure-track assistant professorship. Candidates are expected to have an outstanding academic record in teaching and research in the field of history of education, ideally with a focus on educational policy analysis. In addition, familiarity with the history of educational systems and educational debates in Switzerland is desirable.
Candidates should hold a PhD degree at the time of application and have an excellent record of academic achievements in the relevant field. Teaching may be carried out in English. Non-German speaking candidates are expected to acquire
