at the Department of Civil Engineering
What to expect:
You will teach basic principles such as cost accounting and management accounting on the Bachelor’s programmes offered at the department.
Your application-oriented research will focus primarily on the areas of building/construction industry and construction contract law.
You will enable students to deepen their theoretical knowledge in the context of special practice-oriented courses and project work.
On the Master’s programme, you will teach practical building/construction knowledge in modules such as Follow-up Management and Project Management.
Your expertise is also required on the executive Master’s programme in “Building Law in the Life Cycle of Buildings”.
You will also play an active role in further developing the department, and will get involved in university self-government.
Your expertise is based on a degree in Civil Engineering, focusing on Construction Site Management, and a recognised doctorate.
Your extensive and relevant practical experience on construction sites will provide a good foundation for your application-oriented teaching.
You have experience teaching in higher education, and your willingness to deliver courses in English, if required, will support the university’s internationalisation strategy.
Experience in applying for research projects and an extensive network of practice partners round off your profile.
