Job profile:

• Representation of the field of nursing science in teaching and research
• own focus is desired, e. g. gerontological nursing, pediatric nursing, family-related nursing
• teaches in the nursing and health-related courses of study at Faculty 4
• willingness to lead the study program "Applied Nursing Science"
• Active participation in shaping collaborative relationships with practice partners, establishing and maintaining international relationships
• Willingness to initiate and participate in research projects
• Willingness to (further) develop courses of study at Faculty 4
• Willingness to teach courses in English
• Knowledge and experience in theory-practice transfer are assumed

Professional profile:

• Completed university studies in nursing or health sciences and doctoral degree
• Completed training in a nursing profession (health care and nursing or health care and pediatric nursing or geriatric nursing)
• Teaching experience in nursing or health science courses of study
• Research experience in the field of nursing or health sciences
• German and English language skills
• Evidence of at least 5 years of professional practice, including 3 years outside of academia, or additional scholarly accomplishments related to the advertised position are required
• Application with teaching and research concept

The position is available for an unlimited period of time. When first appointed to a professorship, employment is initially on a probationary civil service basis or on a permanent employment basis with a three-year probationary period.
