The candidate will represent the field of Automation Technology within the Electrical Engineering degree programs. Industrial and practical expertise and experience in the following areas are required:
Automation Technology, Control Technology, Industry 4.0, and sustainability in the field of Automation
Knowledge of industrial sensor technology and robotics is preferred.
Job requirements:
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out application-oriented research activities in at least one of the fields of expertise listed above. We further expect the post holder to teach introductory courses in Electrical Engineering and in the aforementioned fields of expertise to students of other degree programs. A relevant undergraduate/postgraduate degree and a PhD are generally required.

The position is available for an unlimited period of time. When first appointed to a professorship, employment is initially on a probationary civil service basis or on a permanent employment basis with a three-year probationary period.
