The position owner is expected to represent the area of Artificial Intelligence in Communication Networks. She/he is part of a group of professors of Communication Technology and can participate in application-oriented research in the field of AI with other faculty professors. Applications are invited from outstanding candidates demonstrating experience in AI methods, communication networks, and software development. Furthermore, the new faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, e.g., Bachelor Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik or international Master Information Technology. Teaching in German is mandatory in many courses. You’re invited to be part of our Computer Science doctorate center.

The position is available for an unlimited period of time. When first appointed to a professorship, employment is initially on a probationary civil service basis or on a permanent employment basis with a three-year probationary period.
