citizens of Frankfurt, it again became an independent Foundation with autonomy in a wide range of matters in 2008. With over 47,000 students, more than 6,500 professors,
administrators and other employees, and a broad range of academic disciplines, Goethe University Frankfurt is one of the largest universities in Germany.
Goethe University Frankfurt is seeking its new

The ideal candidate will have a proven academic and administrative track record including successful work in research and teaching, several years of experience in leadership positions in research or university institutions, a drive for strategic planning, strong communication skills both with internal teams and external partners, leadership and organization skills, willingness to exercise judgment and carry through on decisions, and familiarity with managing political relationships and discussions both at a local and an international level.
