The aim of OncoRay – National Center for Radiation Research in Oncology – is the improvement of the cure of cancer diseases trough individual technologically optimized radiation therapy. Postdoctoral fellow (f/m/x)

The salary is according to the TV-L dispositions. This full-time position is limited for 36 months.

The candidate has studying the role of endocytosis in the response to ionizing radiation. In addition, the candidate needs to uncovering the interaction between caveolin-1 and PINCH1 during endocytosis upon radiotherapy and the examination of the function of PINCH1 on caveolae motility and traffic in non-irradiated and irradiated cells and discovering the associated signaling networks essential for radioresistance.

Your Profile:

• Strong background in microscopy (e. g. TIRF, FRET, SDM), molecular biology and cell culture
• Graduate diploma and PhD in biology or biochemistry
• Basic knowledge on Western Blotting, immunohistochemistry and bioinformatics
