Postdoctoral fellow (f/m/x)
This full-time Positon is limited for 24 month.
A unique opportunity is open for a motivated postdoc with interest in cancer metabolism to work on a highly innovative project that has been awarded the very competitive ERC fund, a fund allocated by the European Commission for projects with highest scientific potential. The candidate will work in a dynamic, friendly and international research group (group leader Dr. Mohamed Elgendy). The research focus of the group is to dissect metabolic alterations in tumors and the links between metabolic adaptations and tumor progression, metastasis and drug resistance. We aim to exploit the gained insights to translate our findings into clinical applications. The project will exploit a broad range of techniques including cell based assays, molecular biology and biochemical methods, advanced imaging, in-vivo mouse models, as well as proteomics and metabolomics screenings.

Your Profile:

Doctoral degree or equivalent in biology, biomedicine or related sciences
- Laboratory experience with molecular and biochemical techniques
- Experience with In vivo
- Mouse work is advantageous
- Excellent English language skills
- Scientifically curious and career ambitious
