The Institute of Physics of the University of Freiburg invites applications for a full-time position as

Postdoc/Research Assistant (E13 TV-L)

Activities involve frequency-domain and time-domain spectroscopy of organic nanostructures attached to rare gas clusters or XUV free electron laser experiments in the gas phase (see www.nanophysics.uni-freiburg.de). In addition, there is room for own ideas and independent projects. This is a fixed-term position until 30 September 2020; it is expected to be extended. The position can in particular be used to continue an academic career. Applicants should be highly motivated, have a PhD in Physics or Physical Chemistry and a strong background in laser spectroscopy methods and molecular beam techniques.
