We are seeking an enthusiastic Postdoc for leading the studies on the impact of environmental compounds and microbiome
derived metabolites on immune cells in the Department of Molecular Systems Biology, starting at 1st of November 2016.
The successful candidate will establish cellular T cell models for testing the impact of environmental contaminants and
microbiome derived metabolites and will characterise them by making use of the excellent expertise and instrumentation in
proteomics and metabolomics.
Postdoc position (m/f) for unraveling the impact of environmental compounds and microbiome derived metabolites on immune cells
working time 100 % (39 h / week), limited to 2 or 3 years, depending on qualification goal
establishing immune cell models for analysing effects of environmental compounds and microbiome derived metabolites
coordinate the molecular analysis of these models by proteomics or metabolomic means
unravel the impact of metabolic alterations on cellular activation and differentiation
analysing the mechanisms of lncRNA in the process of cellular activation and differentiation
PhD and ideally already a succesful first postdoc in Immunology
Elevated knowledge in Microbiology and Mass Spectrometry
Basic knowledge in statistics and bioinformatics are required
