Postdoc – Innate Immunity (f/m/x)
This full-time position is a third-party funded project for 24 months, starting January 1st, 2021. Salary is according to the TV-L (E13; 100 % ) dispositions.
The Postdoc will analyze activation of epithelial cells and the innate immune system by SARS-CoV2 and study patient-dependent innate immune reaction patterns. Our lab is specifically interested to elucidate how nucleic acids activate the innate immune cells. Experimental experience in the field of virology and / or innate immune activation is required.
PhD degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, medicine or related discipline
expertise in virology and immunology
good knowledge of written and spoken English
ability and motivation to work independently and to develop a research field
team working skills
flexible working hours to find a balance between work and family life
