Postdoc in Nonlinear Dynamics and Complex Networks
with a strong background in nonlinear dynamics and theory of complex networks to carry out research within project A1 "Control and dynamics of multilayer networks". This position is initially limited to 2 years, a subsequent extension by one more year is possible. This is a full-time position with salary grade E 13, TV-L Berlin.
Starts earliest on January 1, 2020 and is funded until December 31, 2022.
Numerical and analytical study of synchronization patterns in networks
Numerical simulation and theoretical analysis of delay differential and stochastic differential equations
Active collaboration with other projects in CRC 910 and with experimental partners
Your profile: successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and doctoral degree in physics, mathematics or computer science. You have a good track record of scientific publications. You are interested in mathematical analysis and have experience in numerical methods. You have a passion for independent scientific work as well as for a teamwork. You have an excellent command of English and the ability to present results convincingly in spoken and written language. You are willing to travel abroad as well as within Germany within the scope of your assignment.
