The Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine – Ethics in the Neurosciences (INM-8) – headed by Prof. Dr. Dieter Sturma, investigates problems in the philosophy and ethics of neuroscience. Focal areas include neuroethics, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and research ethics.

Ethics in the Neurosciences
Your Job:
As part of the research team at INM-8, you will be concerned with philosophical analyses of the normative challenges in the focal areas mentioned above. You will also participate in designing scientific research projects and organizing events at INM-8.
Your Profile:
University degree (MA or equivalent), preferably in philosophy or neurosciences
A very good doctoral degree in philosophy
Fluent in English
Willingness to collaborate with interdisciplinary working groups, primarily from the natural sciences but also from the social sciences
