WIAS invites applications for a
PhD Student Position (f/m/d) (Ref. 19/12)
in the Research Group
"Interacting random systems"
(Head: Prof. Dr. W. König) starting in July 2019.
The applicant must at a minimum hold a master's degree in mathematics or related field with high emphasis on probability. The successful applicant will be part of a team performing rigorous probabilistic and analytic work on spatial random systems as models for chemical, physical and engineering processes. Knowledge in statistical physics, percolation or stochastic geometry will be helpful.
