PhD-Student - Clinical Mass Spectrometry (f/m)
The position is available from January 2019 (TV-L E13/65%). This is a two-year Position.
With a number of Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography coupled tandem mass spectrometry instruments and a hybrid high resolution mass spectrometer at hand the Institute
of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a PhD-student to expand its clinical mass spectrometry focus.
Applicants hold a degree (Master) or equivalent in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology or a related field
Applicants are expected to have a background in analytical chemistry and/or clinical chemistry and ideally hands-on experience with operation of advanced LC-MS instruments
Solid knowledge of written and spoken English is beneficial
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team and in collaboration with others is essential.
