The Bachelor Program of WHU invites applications for the full-time position of
Lecturer (m/f) in Mathematics and Quantitative Methods
located at the WHU Campus Vallendar, with a starting date as soon as possible.
Our three-year Bachelor in International Business Administration (BSc) provides students with a rigorous business education, flexible curriculum, hands-on experience,
and international exposure. For our program, we are seeking a Full-time Lecturer (m/f) in Mathematics and Quantitative Methods. You will work closely with the Academic
Director of the BSc-Program and the Associate Dean of Programs and interact with faculty and students.
Teaching undergraduate students, especially in mathematics and statistics.
Developing and updating content for classes.
Instructing, guiding and supervising adjunct faculty and student tutors.
Supporting the program in general (admission days, examination boards, etc.).
Supervising bachelor theses where appropriate.
PhD in a relevant field of expertise (i.e. economics, statistics, mathematics, etc.).
Excellent communication skills both in English and German.
High level of service orientation.
Substantial teaching experience is of advantage.
Ability to work independently in a structured and effective manner.
Knowledge of Campus Management and Learning Management Systems (e.g. CASCampus or Moodle) is of advantage.
