in education for support needs in learning
In previous research of the applicant, references to pedagogy for support needs in learning as
well as to discourses of social disadvantages should be recognizable. The post holder will need
to represent the full scope of the field of "education for support needs in learning" ("Pädagogik
bei Lernbeeinträchtigungen") in the domain of teacher training based on inclusion-orientated
occupational fields as well as contribute to basic qualifications in inclusive education of other
teacher training courses and provide offers for educational-scientific bachelors programs. The
candidate should dispose of an expandable profile in quantitative and qualitative social research.

excellent perspective the possibility of individual and independent research at an early stage of
their carreer and to provide the opportunity of long-termed perspectives.
Requirements for application
First and preferably Second State Examination (1. and preferably 2. Staatsprüfung) for the
teaching profession in special education or comparable education associated degree.
Multi-year practical experience particularly in school related areas
Excellent doctorate in educational sciences
Experiences in universal education in the field of education for support needs in learning
Experiences in the acquisition of third-party research funds desirable.
Additional tasks are listed in § 34 of the "Hochschulgesetz des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt". It is
also expected that the post holder actively cooperates with the Center for School and Educational
Research (ZSB) and the Center for Teacher Education (ZLB), especially with regard to

interim evaluation, a prolongation of up to additional three years is provided. Under the prerequisite
of positive final evaluation, an unlimited employment as University professor is intended.
