General Psychiatry and Psychotherapy as a
Full Professor (W3) of Neurotechnology and Computational Psychiatry (f/m/d)
The successful candidate should represent the areas neurotechnology and computational psychiatry at an international level in research and teaching. These areas include
the following topics: brain computer interfaces; neurofeedback methods; modeling and integrative analysis of complex, multi-modal data of persons suffering from mental
illness obtained from e.g. neuroimaging (fMRI, NIRS, EEG, MEG, PET), genetics / epigenetics, or clinical data, for instance from neuropsychology, psychometrics, or ecological
momentary assessment. We expect a close cooperation with the clinically active physicians and psychologists, but also with the bioinformatics research groups at the University
Hospital Tübingen, the Faculty of Medicine, and other university and non-university research institutions. We are looking for a person with an excellent research track
record in the above-mentioned fields to pursue relevant scientific issues in close cooperation with the existing research structures in Tübingen (e.g. Center for Mental
Health (ZPG), Tübingen Neuro Campus (TNC), QBIC, DIFUTURE, Cluster of Excellence Machine Learning, MPI for Biological Cybernetics, Cyber Valley Tübingen).
Required qualifications include a PhD or equivalent international degree and postdoctoral qualifications equivalent to the requirements for tenure. This includes evidence of teaching effectiveness.
