Full Professor of
Macroeconomics
at pay grade W 3 (minimum salary per month: 7,217 euros) to commence as soon as possible. This is a permanent civil service position.
The new postholder will represent the area of macroeconomics in research and teaching and should have an international track record in this field with publications in leading international journals. Applications from all areas of macroeconomics are welcome. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to interdisciplinary research within and across faculties of the university. He or she will also be expected to contribute to the focus area Governance & Responsibility.
The successful candidate will apply his or her didactical skills and competences in introductory courses in economics as well as courses for the bachelor’s and master’s programmes within the Faculty of Law, Business & Economics. The main teaching duties lie in the provision of courses in macroeconomics. The new postholder will also support the teaching of economics courses in interdisciplinary bachelor’s and master’s programmes, should play an active role in the education of teachers, and will be involved in postgraduate training. In order to foster internationalization at the University, a strong international research network as well as the ability to teach in English are expected.
