Goethe University Frankfurt am Main invites applications for the position of
Endowed Professor (W2, tenure track)
of Alternative Investments
in the finance group at the Faculty of Economics and Business. This civil servant or public employee
position will start as soon as possible.
The professorship is assigned to the finance group, which currently comprises around 15 professors and thus offers an attractive scientific environment. The department conducts theoretical and empirical research in the field of finance. If your application is successful, you will become a member of the finance group and contribute to its further development. Your research should have a focus on alternative investments, such as venture capital, hedge funds, and/or private equity. We expect you to participate in the teaching program of the bachelor's and master's degree as well as in our PhD program and the ability to teach in both German and English in the future.
You have a university degree in economics, pedagogical aptitude, a qualified doctorate and outstanding scientific research achievements in the field of finance. The teaching load is eight hours.
The formal hiring requirements are defined in sections 67, 68, and 70 of the Hessian Higher Education Act (Hessisches Hochschulgesetz).
