The endowed junior professorship is funded by Ed. Züblin AG and is intended to contribute to the digital transformation in the construction industry towards a process- and productoriented realization of buildings. Based on a holistic view of the value chain of the construction industry, the causes of the current challenges will be reflected, the possibilities of digital tools for innovation, systematization and automation will be researched and solutions will be developed.
The position involves teaching in study courses (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, in German and in English) offered by the Faculty as well as in cooperation with other faculties.
We are searching for a personality who should be distinguished by high-ranking scientific publications or similar achievements, if possible with international visibility. This includes, for example, participation in and responsibility for innovative research and development projects.
For a qualitative assessment of your academic accomplishments, we kindly ask you to submit a short description of your three most important scientific achievements, which should be no longer than one page. Conceivable successes are, for example, those in the fields of research, teaching, science and society, knowledge and technology transfer, inventions and patents, software development or spin-offs.
